Sora
Sora (Porzana carolina) is a small rail that occurs in
freshwater marshes across much of North America. They are
heard more often than seen, and then usually at the base
of vegetation on the edges of ponds. They are about the
size of an American Robin, although a lot more plump in
appearance. This very cooperative bird has been seen
regularly at the Watre Ranch ib Gilbert, AZ.
