White-faced Ibis
White-faced Ibis (Plegadis chihi) is the western counterpart of Glossy Ibis. Differs by bright white border at base of bill in breeding plumage, red eye, and reddish facial skin. Usually seen in medium to large flocks in flooded fields or shallow water mudflats. All images made in NM and AZ.
