Little Blue Heron (Egretta
caerulea) is a casual vagrant to AZ. This bird is in
adult plumage but still shows traces of the white feathers
of an immature. It was discovered at the Water Ranch in
Gilbert, AZ, by Brendon Grice on May 15, 2009, and was
still being sen on May 18. It fed with mixed Greater and
Snowy Egrets while present.
