Brown Thrasher (Toxostoma rufum) is a bird of the eastern U.S. and is casual in the west. There are one or two birds reported in AZ almost every year. There has been one seen at Boyce Thompson Arboretum (where the first two photos were made) for many winters. The third and fourth images were taken at the Gilbert Water Ranch in December 2011.
