With almost 40 years of experience as a birder and as a
photographer I've learned a lot about both subjects, and
I've shared much of it in various places.
In addition to the usual stuff (image use policies,
biography, photo gear used), you'll find
site guides to the places around Phoenix, AZ, that I
visit most often for my bird photography, and an

photography in general to get you started in bird
photography. There's also a "Rants" section where I share my
views on a few topics that don't necessarily agree
with the mainstream.
As time permits I plan to add articles with example images
on certain aspects of bird photography and more information
on the species that can be found
at the Water Ranch (and how to photograph them).
